A compilation of alarm sounds from the former World Trade Center Complex. Consisting of the Cerberus Pyrotronics alarm, and the Firecom 8500 alarm.
These sound effects are based on footage from the sept. 11 attacks, the subsequent NIST NCSTAR1-4C "Fire Alarm Systems" report, research within the "World Trade Center Fire Alarm System History" topic on TheFirePanel forums, and from the Firecom patent.
The sounds and information are generated and/or gathered from with the best available research to me. Some inaccuracies might occur.
Known inaccuracies
-The Wheelock 34t alarm generator shown for the Cerberus Pyrotronics alarms, and as shown within the Port Authority "World Trade Center Fire Safety Instructions" video is not a speaker box. These would have been Wheelock E70 speaker strobes.
-WTC 3/Marriot Hotel's alarm is an Edward's system whoop alarm.
-The speaker system of WTC 7's Firecom alarm was most likely provided by Atlas Soundolier. With possibly SVT-72 speakers.

The voice assisted alarm sound is owned by FireAlarm9200
Credit for the 3D model goes to Kyle Hudak

Although the complex of WTC 1,2,4,5 & 6 spread over one superblock, the fire alarms were individually controlled per building. So at the time of the first attack on the WTC 1, only Building 1 was ordered to evacuate.
